Hello Canine offers a range of online dog courses designed to help learners build their knowledge and work towards their goals with dogs.
Our courses cover the canine subjects, including dog grooming, dog training, canine behaviour, nutrition, first aid and canine care, supporting careers across grooming, training, walking, sitting, day care and kennel work.
All dog courses featured on our site are CPD Accredited. Upon successful completion, learners receive a CPD Accredited certificate as documented evidence of their continued professional development.
What is CPD?
CPD stands for Continuing Professional Development. CPD is a commitment to lifelong learning, a habit valuable in any line of work. Employers from both the public and private sectors, as well as academic institutions, recognise Continuing Professional Development (CPD) as a structured approach to ongoing learning.

CPD certification allows canine professionals to demonstrate ongoing learning, develop additional knowledge and maintain a record of their professional development throughout their career.
Understanding of dogs keeps developing, from behaviour and body language to nutrition, first aid and welfare good practice, and CPD gives you a structured way to develop with it. Much of the canine sector is self-employed, so evidence of development speaks to clients as well as employers: owners choosing a groomer, walker or boarder respond to visible training on a website or price list. For those applying to salons, kennels and day care centres, completed CPD shows the preparation and commitment employers look for.

Upon successful completion of your Hello Canine course, you’ll receive a CPD Accredited certificate as evidence of your achievement and professional development.
Whether you’re completing a foundation course such as Canine Communication or First Aid for Puppies and Dogs, studying Dog Grooming at Level 3 or Level 4, or specialising in areas such as Canine Behaviour, Canine Nutrition or Dog Day Care, your certificate records what you’ve completed.
